Welcome Dr. Jennifer Venditti to the position of Assistant Dean in the College of Science and Technology.

Dr. Venditti has been at Bloomsburg since 2010, and is an Associate Professor of Biology and Allied Health Sciences. Dr. Venditti received the Provost’s Award for Excellence in Research/Scholarly Activity in 2013, and will continue to direct her robust research program in sperm cell biology. Dr. Venditti has provided a great deal of academic service, notably as director of the Health Sciences Living & Learning Community, chair of the COST Recruitment Task Force, and chair of the Health Sciences Symposium Committee.


Recently, Dr. Venditti (along with Dr. Angela Hess) was instrumental in securing institutional funding for a new confocal microscope. Her teaching assignments have included Human Biology, Endocrinology, Introduction to Health Care Practice, and laboratories in Concepts in Biology I, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Cell Biology. In addition, Dr. Venditti is a particularly effective advisor of students and student organizations. The College of Science and Technology looks forward to the enthusiasm and fresh ideas Dr. Venditti will bring to this position.
